We’d like to thank Tamara, a member of our ‘Diamond Team’, for providing such a cute birthday cake for Saray. I asked Tamara if she would share her experience with us and she readily agreed. Thank you Tamara for making a little one’s birthday very special and for blogging about it! YOU ROCK!!
“It is a honor to be apart of the Diamond Team for CFC. Knowing I was next in line to provide a cake for a special someone at the Diamond Children’s Center I could hardly wait til a birthday rolled around. Also thinking, “HMMM, I wonder what the theme is going to be?” Well when Rene emailed me asking if I could provide a cake for a young lady turning 14 and she wanted a salon theme. I was thrilled! I thought nail polish and make up! What 14 year old girl doesn’t like nail polish and bright colors? As I was delivering the cake a nail tech was also arriving to do Saray’s nails. How cool is that? The cake is a strawberry cake with buttercream and all fondant pieces are molded by hand. It is so rewarding to put a smile on someone’s face. When I started baking and was in the middle of starting by business I remember telling my husband, “Every now and then I want to make a cake and give it out for someones birthday”. Rene and CFC has allowed me to do just that and more. CFC ROCKS!!!” — Tamara
