Healing Hands, an organization made up of nurses and staffers from a high-risk pregnancy unit in the University of Arizona Medical Center Labor and Delivery Department provides parents mementos of their children who die as a result of miscarriage or stillbirth. They asked us to provide sweet treats for their bake sale to raise funds to continue their work. Our Miss Isela, Jeanne Liss, Jess-Missez Sweetness, Ruth M Estrada, Rene Luedeman, Jamie Pacheco, Annie Berube, and Chris Howlett, baked chocolate mint cookies, peanut butter banana cookies, chocolate chip cookies, red velvet cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes, peanut butter cookies, brownies, snickerdoodle cookies, chocolate strawberry cupcakes, peanut butter filled chocolate heart sandwiches, pumpkin cranberry muffins, and coffee cake.”
