“We spent the day at the TreeHouse Farm (http://www.serenitystay.org/) in Elgin, Arizona with Beads of Courage. Beads of Courage offers retreats to this farm for children and their families who are coping with serious illnesses. It is a time for them to go and spend a day on a farm experiencing sensory relief and healing. We were honored to spend the day with them. We served chocolate zucchini muffins, pumpkin muffins, apple cinnamon muffins, sugar free chocolate muffins, and vegan cherry cookies. Thank you to our bakers, Jeanne, Michele, and Rene’ and to our baker’s assistant, Carrie. Thank you to our crew who served at the event (Terrill, Jeanne, and Michele).
